Requirements of Stage 1
New Suppliers
The requirements (prequalification stage 1) that have been set by the transportation companies and which every company has to meet in order to achieve the status “pre-qualified” in connvenio, are as follows:
- Perform sales in his own name
- Be up-to-date with the payment of imposed taxes and fees
- Not be in debt-settlement proceedings or in any other respect be placed under public administration
- Complete the supplier questionnaire ONLINE, which means:
a) All mandatory fields must be answered/completed
b) At least one product or service must be entered
c) At least one reference for each product/service must be given – not valid for recently-founded companies
- Send a copy of the company registration certificate to the connvenio team by post or via fax
- Send a copy of the liability insurance (if available) to Achilles, which proves that the company possesses a valid liability insurance.
- Send a copy of the insurance form for environmental protection (if available) to Achilles, which proves that the company possesses a valid environmental protection insurance.
- Send a copy of the certificate for Quality Management (if available) to Achilles, which proves that the company possesses a valid certification for Quality Management.
- Send a copy of the certificate for Environmental Management (if available) to Achilles, which proves that the company possesses a valid certification for Environmental Management.
- Send the declaration that has to be signed by the Managing Director (or a person with similar competencies) to Achilles by post
- Pay the annual fee to Achilles Information GmbH (Germany)
The registration is valid for 12 months. Once the connvenio Team has received the questionnaire and the additional documents/certificates, as well as the payment, the verification (pre-qualification) starts. As soon as the connvenio Team observes that the company complies with the criteria, the company’s status changes from “registered” to “pre-qualified”. From then on the company is visible for the transportation companies that use connvenio.
Pre-qualified suppliers
The pre-qualification criteria/requirements being set up by the transportation companies and that every company has to comply with in order to remain a “pre-qualified” supplier in connvenio during and after the 12-months registration time, are the following:
- Perform sales in his own name
- Be up-to-date with the payment of imposed taxes and fees
- Not be in debt-settlement proceedings or in any other respect be placed under public administration
- Update the information given in the supplier questionnaire last time
a) All mandatory fields must be answered/completed
b) At least one product or service must be entered
c) At least one reference for each product/service must be given
- Send a copy of the company registration certificate to the connvenio team by post or via fax
- Send a copy of the liability insurance (if available) to Achilles, which proves that the company possesses a valid liability insurance.
- Send a copy of the insurance form for environmental protection (if available) to Achilles, which proves that the company possesses a valid environmental protection insurance.
- Send a copy of the certificate for Quality Management (if available) to Achilles, which proves that the company possesses a valid certification for Quality Management.
- Send a copy of the certificate for Environmental Management (if available) to Achilles, which proves that the company possesses a valid certification for Environmental Management.

- Pay the annual fee to Achilles Information GmbH (Germany)
After the mandatory annual update, the registration is again valid for 12 months. Once Achilles has received the questionnaire and the additional documents/certificates, as well as the payment, the verification (pre-qualification) starts. As soon as the connvenio Team observes that the company still complies with the criteria, the company’s status remains “pre-qualified”.
