The transport companies (overview) use Connvenio as their supplier management and pre-qualification system enabling their buyers to access high-quality information about their existing and potential suppliers. Access to this accurate and up-to-date information will mean each registered buyer can assess the suppliers’ capabilities and the financial, ethical, environmental, quality, and health and safety risks of buying particular products and services.
Joining Connvenio as a supplier enables the organisation to become pre-qualified (commercial verification, level 1) and to demonstrate that it complies with the minimum criteria of this sector. Information on each supplier is collated, verified and maintained continuously by Achilles, and is available to all registered buyers.
How can you join and pre-qualify?
The process is simple. Achilles asks suppliers to complete a simple online application form. This form covers the company address, invoice address and your contact person for Achilles. There are three different supplier registration categories. The selection of the right category does not only depend on the annual turnover of the supplying organisation. On top of this each supplier registration category offers a different scope of service such as the participation in EU Notices* once Connvenio is published as the qualification or the number of products and/or services that can be entered in the supplier profile.
Once the application form is received, the supplier is provided with a Welcome Package by Email. Login details will be provided once the payment of the annual subscription fee is received. After receiving the completed material, Achilles starts with the commercial verification (pre-qualification, level 1). As soon as the result of the validation is positive, the supplier does not only receive a certificate confirming the successful pre-qualification but also the “Accredited” Logo which can be published on any marketing material or on the homepage. Moreover, every registered Connvenio buyer can select “pre-qualified” suppliers once they search for organisations that match with their search criteria.
