connvenio for suppliers

how it works how it works

The commercial verification (pre-qualification, level 1) is executed by Achilles on behalf of the registered members in order to become “finally” qualified for at least one of the registered members (overview). Therefore, each supplying organisation needs to apply for Connvenio first.

If the result of the commercial verification is positive, the registered Connvenio member can get in touch with the supplier directly to obtain further and more detailed information on the supplier’s capabilities in terms of current projects or tenders (pre-qualification, level 2). It is the buying organisation (not Achilles) that informs the supplier about the result of the second level of validation.

Step 1: Register with Connvenio

Connvenio is the web based supplier management and pre-qualification system used by buying organisations operating in the transport sector in Central, Eastern and Western Europe. Achilles accepts application forms from suppliers either having an invitation (Email or hard copy letter)  from one of the registered Connvenio members or from supplying organisations that apply for an EU Notice (call for competition) informing suppliers that they need be pre-qualify with Connvenio first (Connvenio is the qualification system ). An overview of EU Notices is available HERE

Step 2: Complete Online pre-qualification questionnaire

Once Achilles receives your application form you will get a welcome package. This package includes the login details for your questionnaire, the invoice of your subscription fee and further important information. Once you are logged on you can complete your questionnaire and upload the requested certificates and policies. Additional documents such as the Certificate of Incorporation and the Binding Declaration confirming your provided information must be sent by mail. They have to be sent to the Connvenio Team.

Step 3: Achilles validates information and data

The Connvenio Team starts with the verification (pre-qualification, level 1) on behalf of the registered members once you submitted the questionnaire and the additional documents and the payment of your subscription fee is received, too. The verification process lasts approximately 2 – 3 weeks because it depends on the complexity of your provided data. We want to emphasise that all data and information remain with Achilles and will be treated confidentially.

Step 4: Upload of your verified supplier profile

The pre-qualification process (level 1) is successfully completed once your organisation complies with all requirements set up by the registered Connvenio members. Your company’s status changes from “registered” to “pre-qualified”. Every registered buyer can select “pre-qualified” suppliers once they search for organisations that match with their search criteria. In addition to that every your organisation will be provided with a certificate and an “Accredited Logo” confirming the organisation’s status in Connvenio.
