Achilles JQS user side has increased with four new companies: Idemitsu Petroleum Norge AS, Measurement AS, IKM Testing AS and EnerMech AS.
Idemitsu Petroleum Norge (IPN), which has joined as an operator, is a subsidiary of the Idemitsu Group, one of Japan’s largest energy corporations with 79 affiliated companies and almost 8000 employees worldwide.
Idemitsu entered the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) in 1989 by acquiring a stake in the Snorre field. Historically, the core area has been in the northern North Sea, but today the company is actively pursuing opportunities all across the NCS.
As an energy supplier, Idemitsu promotes the development of energy sources to replace fossil fuels. Among such efforts, particular emphasis is placed on renewable energy with low environmental impact. In 2007, Idemitsu began working toward wind-power generation and supplying biogas. The other three companies, Roxar Flow Measurement AS, IKM Testing AS and EnerMech AS, which now start using Achilles JQS are suppliers getting a buyer access.
