In several countries Achilles operates online supplier information systems on behalf of utilities, the oil and gas industry as well the transport sector. Those supplier databases consists of suppliers which Achilles has already verified (pre-qualification). Due to the different requirements in each sector and country the local supplier databases are not identical. However all of them have the following information in common: company name, address, contact person and products and/or services.
Once a supplier meets the local sector specific requirements the suppliers’ status becomes “pre-qualified” in the local database. Afterwards a summary of supplier‘s profile is uploaded to the appropriate “Global Business Directory”. Consequently the Global Business Directories enables you to identify not only new suppliers but also already verfied suppliers.
