FPAL hosted their first Lunch & Learn Session to introduce new Suppliers to the FPAL scheme at their Aberdeen office in December. The session was designed to teach suppliers about the value of FPAL and how the procurement system is utilised by Operators and Service companies to source suppliers for North Sea operations.
FPAL was founded in 1996 at a time where oil companies sought to create a centralised procurement system and improve supply chain efficiencies. Now with 84 Purchasing Members; FPAL is widely accepted as the Supplier Information Management System for the oil and gas industry.
Suppliers attending the Lunch & Learn event, had the opportunity to understand the FPAL Registration Process, how to maintain their supplier records, as well as network with FPAL Purchasers.
