The range of linked services continues to expand and forms part of the FPAL strategy to provide a 'one-stop-shop' with easy access to associated web based services. These specialist service organisations are totally independent from FPAL and interested parties may need to be registered with the appropriate service provider, and where relevant, pay their subscribership fees.

DeCom North Sea has been set up to tackle the main areas of weakness and the bottlenecks which are inhibiting UK decommissioning supply-chain capability. Acting on behalf of its Members, DeCom provide a common voice for the decommissioning supply chain, working with decision makers and government bodies at the highest levels, conducting and circulating research, and acting as a forum to stimulate and maintain effective dialogue on such issues as contracting strategies, packaging of assets, supply chain development, capacity building and economic research.
Energy Industries Council (EIC) is a leading trade association for the marketing and promotion of UK based companies involved in the supply of goods and services to the global energy industry. International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC), is an internationally based trade association involving drilling contractors, producers and associate organisations. IRO, Association of Dutch Suppliers in the Oil and Gas Industry. The IRO represents some 300 member companies, which are Dutch suppliers in the oil and gas industry. Its aim is to further the interests of the Dutch upstream industry, onshore and offshore, in the fields of politics, economics and technical affairs on a regional, national and international level.
Industry Technology Facilitator (ITF) was established in 1999 by the oil & gas Industry Task force (now Pilot), UK DTI and the oil industry. It is a not for profit organisation owned by 13 operating companies who have operations in the North Sea. The ITF’s primary aim is to bring new technology to market by a number of means including identifying the shared technology needs of its operating company members and creating field trial opportunities.
