Suppliers wanting to be approved as supplier in StartBANK, return their order form to Achilles Systems AS together with their advance payment. The bases for registration will be sent as soon as the payment, or possibly the receipt from the bank has been received.
Costs
Registration costs NOK 5000.- incl. VAT per year. (For companies with an annual turnover of less than NOK 10 millions, the annual charge is NOK 2,500.- incl. VAT) This comprises registration of up to 40 product and/or services categories (order form).
The approval is normally valid for 12 months, and must be renewed before expiration to maintain continuous approval. The supplier receives automatically a reminder about annual renewal of the approval. It accrues a charge of NOK 5000.- incl. VAT at each annual renewal. (For companies with an annual turnover of less than NOK 10 million, the annual charge is NOK 2,500.- incl. VAT.)
Each additional updating carried out on own initiative within the approval period will be charged with NOK 625.- incl. VAT each time. (order form, part updating)
Payment terms
Registration charge shall be paid in advance as specified on the registration form. Our invoice, which confirms receipt of your payment, will be mailed to you.

Requirements to suppliers
To obtain Approval the supplier must:
- Carry out the sale under own name
- Be up-to-date with payment of taxes and charges
- Have satisfied legal requirements as to reporting to public records, such as annual reports, annual results, etc.
- Not be bankrupt or in debt negotiations
- Offer products / services that are identified as a part of the arrangement at the time of registration
- Deliver complete basis for registration consisting of StartBANK questionnaire and standardized self declarations (SB1 and SB2).
- Submit a copy of the company’s latest Certificate of Registration
- Have paid the annual registration fee. Please refer to the registration form for details.
- The questionnaire requires that you have access to internet.

Filling in of the questionnaire / basis for registration
The basis for registration consists of an internet- based questionnaire where questions as to the business and its products and services shall be answered. The program also contains standardized declarations (SB1 and SB2), duly signed, which the enterprise must submit. A copy of the Certificate of Registration shall accompany the application at submittal.
NOTE! The supplier will receive a user name and a password which enables him to log in through the internet in order to complete the questionnaire and load down the self declarations.

Closing date for submittal:
From the date of application, the supplier has one month in which he shall complete his application and return this for processing at the coordinating link, Achilles.

Processing of application:
When the application has been received at the coordinating link it immediately goes to processing, assuming that all required documentation has been submitted. In case something misses our approval team at Achilles sends you a written reminder about this. The information is then evaluated against standardized criteria, set by the Steering Committee for StartBANK. Possible changes in the information are of course only made at your written permission. All information is treated confidentially. Feedback about the result of the processing will be given in writing.

Dispatch to buyers:
Suppliers that are approved in StartBANK are made available to all procurement organization affiliated with the arrangement. The participating companies have access to the data over internet, thus always securing available updated information to allow use of the supplier’s register in cases of procurement.

Requirement as to updating of the information:
In order to maintain continuous approval it is required that you, as supplier, carry out at least one annual updating of the information in the database. An invitation for renewal of the approval will be sent automatically from Achilles well ahead of the expiration of the approval. At the annual renewal, the information from last year is of course entered in the questionnaire, thus reducing this work to a simple updating.

The categories for goods and services that are covered by StartBANK constitute a part of the internet-based questionnaire and there becomes a natural link in the registration of products and services in the supplier’s register.

Updating
Annual updating:

Approved suppliers may at any time within the approval period, on their own initiative carry out additional updating of their information. Each partly updating is charged NOK 625.- incl. VAT. (order form)
Updating of contact:
Approved suppliers have always access for change of name and address in the database.
Such update of contact causes no extra charges and is simply made in a separate contact questionnaire on the internet.

Ordering
New registration
If you want to order basis for registration as to the StartBANK supplier’s register for suppliers to the building and civil engineering business, we ask you to fill inn our order form and fax or this to Achilles Systems AS, fax no: +47 37 06 35 51.
We call attention to that registration charges shall be paid in advance, as specified in the order form. Our invoice, which confirms our receipt of your payment, will be mailed to you. If an advance invoicing is required, please give special notice about this at application.
Contact update
Approved suppliers have always access to change of name and address in the database. Such updates of contacts do not lead to extra charges and is made simply in a separate questionnaire on internet.
Partly updating
If you want to carry out other additional updating of your information, you have the possibility to carry out a partly updating.
Expansion
Basically the questionnaire has a limit of 40 product lines. If you want to expand the registration to more products or services, it is possible to order extra product lines.
The form may be filled in on the screen. Open the document and store it locally on your PC. Fill in necessary information in the sections. Print it and sign the order before you fax it to Achilles.
