Suppliers who wish to qualify in the system return their order form to Achilles Information Centre along with their pre-payment. Qualification material is forwarded as soon as the payment, or a bank receipt is received.
Costs
Achilles JQS is a subscription-based service where the annual fee (ranging from NOK 5800 to NOK 9000) is based upon the number of product/service codes chosen. Order registration here (order form).

The qualification is normally valid for 12 months, and must be renewed within the expiry to maintain continuous qualification. The supplier automatically receives an invitation to update the registration in due time. The annual fee accrues at each annual update.
Additional updates are performed at the suppliers own discretion and initiative and cost NOK 500 excl. VAT each (order form partial update).
Terms of Payment
The qualification material is payable in advance as specified on the order form. Our invoice confirming receipt of the qualification fee is forwarded along with the material.
If an advance invoice is required this must be written explicitly on the order form.

Supplier Requirements:
To achieve qualification the supplier must:
- minimum complete mandatory information (marked with *)
- have implemented and documented a quality system in accordance with an international standard like EN ISO 9001 series or corresponding standards. (Third-party certification is not required).
- have established and documented a formal system for managing health, safety and environment (HSE), matters and requirements which, as a minimum, complies with the applicable national (ref. Company address) laws and regulations related to or concerning HSE.
- perform sales in his own name
- state financial key figures
- be up-to-date with the payment of imposed taxes and fees
- have adhered to the legal requirements with regard to the submittal of last year's Annual Report and Account to the appropriate authorities.
- not be in debt-settlement proceedings or in any other respect be placed under public administration.
- offer products/services that are comprised by the system at the time of qualification.
- submit full application for qualification, i.e Achilles online questionnaire and supporting documentation.
- enclose a copy of the latest version of the Certificate of Incorporation
- have paid the annual qualification fee ranging from NOK 5800 to NOK 9000 excl. VAT.
- The questionnaire requires that you have access to the internet.

Completing the qualification material:
The qualification material consists of an internet based questionnaire where details of your business and products and services are filled in. Two standardised declaration forms are to be signed and returned by mail. Evidence of formal registration of your company (Copy of Certificate of Incorporation) and possible QA certificates must also be submitted.
Note! Suppliers who have got their user name and password from Achilles can log in at http://www.achilles.com/en/global/Misc/Login/ to complete the registration.

Deadlines:
From the date you sign up you will have 1 month to complete your application and return it to the co-ordination unit Achilles.

Qualification:
Upon receipt of the completed qualification material the co-ordination unit will start the qualification process, provided all the required documentation has been submitted. If elements of the application are not to hand, our qualification team will send you a written notification so that missing elements may be sent in. The information is evaluated on the basis of standard criteria set forth by the subscribing oil companies. Changes in the information are only made upon the suppliers written consent. All information is treated confidentially. You will receive written notification of the result of the qualification process.

Exporting data to the buyers:
Suppliers who achieve qualification in Achilles Joint Qualification System are made available to all the subscribing companies. Since January 1999 the qualification system is available to the users on the internet, ensuring regular and frequent updates and availability also for projects that are operated outside of the company.

Update Requirements:
To maintain continuous qualification, the supplier must as a minimum perform an annual update. An invitation to update the registration is forwarded by the coordination unit automatically in due time before the supplier's qualification expires. At the annual update the information entered the previous year is naturally included in the questionnaire so that it is only a matter of editing the registration.

Pre-qualified suppliers may update their information any time at their own discretion. A partial update costs NOK 500. (Order form)

Pre-qualified suppliers may change their name and address any time at their own discretion. Contact updates are free and are made in a separate mini-questionnaire on the internet.
