To qualify for one of the participating utilities you have to register with Connexio. The principle verification is done by Achilles on behalf of the utilities (pre-qualification stage 1). Once the first principle verification (pre-qualification stage 1) was successful, it is the utility that contacts the supplier directly requesting more detailed information about the products and/or services (pre-qualification stage 2 / e-Qual). The utility itself will inform the supplier about the result of the verification stage 2.
Step 1: Register with Connexio |
Connexio is the supplier information system for utilities in Germany, Eastern and Central Europe. Hence, only the following organisations can register with Connexio: either you have received an invitation from one of the participating utilities or you apply for an EU-Notice, published by one of the participating utilities.

Step 2: Complete Online Questionnaire |
| Once we received your application form we will provide you with your login details by Email. You access your online questionnaire with your login details dircetly on the internet. You have four weeks to complete the questionnaire online and submit online. Due to the fact that the utilities are located in different countries you can complete the questionnaire in English, German or Slovak. In case you complete the questionnaire in German or Slovak, we recommend that you provide detailed information about your products and services in English, too. Additional documents such as the certificate of incorporation as well as the binding declaration confirming the validation of your entered information must be sent by post to the Connexio Team. |
Step 3: Verification by Achilles |
Once the Connexio Team received your online questionnaire (submit online - no print outs!), additional documents and payment, the Connexio Team starts with the pre-qualification process (stage 1) on behalf of the participating utilities.
The verification lasts approximately 2 – 3 weeks depending on the content of your product/ service portfolio. All information, data and documents that belongs to your registration with Connexio Utility remains with Achilles and is treated confidentially. |
Step 4: Upload of your supplier profile |
| The pre-qualification process (stage 1) is completed successfully once the Connexio Team notices that your organisation complies with the criteria set up by the utilities. Your supplier profile is then uploaded to Connexio and the buyers can access your complete supplier profile. In addition to that we will send you a certificate confirming your successful pre-qualification (stage 1). |
