Professor Sue Arrowsmith  

Professor of Public Procurement Law, and Director of the Public Procurement Research Group at the School of Law at Nottingham, Sue Arrowsmith is a regular and valued contributor to Achilles-run courses on a range of public procurement topics. She is also a Non-Executive member of the Achilles Information Ltd Board. 

A well-respected and established academic voice on procurement matters Europe-wide, Sue’s achievements were recognised in 2007 when she was awarded the Swinbank Medal by the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS).

The award was given in recognition of her work in the field of public procurement. The CIPS citation refers to her experience in the world of public procurement law and law reform as a teacher, author and editor, and her long-term advisory work with public bodies both in the UK and internationally.
