Overview
This course is aimed at experienced procurement professionals, advisors and lawyers practising in procurement law who have been working with the EC procurement rules for some time.
This course looks at the challenges purchasers face and at the more challenging areas of EC procurement legislation. The course enables delegates to explore ways to manage more effectively the complex issues involved in delivering commercial value and other organisational agenda whilst minimising the risk of challenge under the EC procurement rules.
This is an interactive course where the final programme is determined by the delegates and areas they wish to cover. Therefore the programme below is a sample based on previous course.

Trainer - Glenn Fletcher, Achilles Group
Glenn Fletcher has worked in regulated procurement for 20 years. He edits Achilles’ software product THEMiS designed to assist compliance with EC procurement rules) and provides EC advice and training to the pubic sector. Prior to joining Achilles he led a team within the Treasury’s Procurement Policy division, concentrating on international procurement issues. He has been closely involved in the development of UK government and European Commission guidance and has provided advice on procurement to the public and private sectors.
