Pre-qualification
A comprehensive process designed for pre-qualifying all contractors, service providers and suppliers through a web-based pre-qualification questionnaire, including the submission of supporting electronic documentation (e.g. safety policy, insurance certificates etc).
All information is quality checked by Achilles, before pre-qualification status is awarded and the information is published to the industry secure website.
Accreditation
A thorough two-day onsite management systems audit designed for contractors and service providers that may import risk to your business. The purpose of the audit is to verify information provided at pre-qualification stage and provide a much greater level of detail about the supplier’s management systems and any areas of risk that may be present.
Accreditation status is only awarded to contractors that meet the requirements of the audit and this is purposefully designed to significantly increase supply chain standards and performance.
Achilles accreditation is designed to provide a single supplier accreditation process for the construction industry, removing the need for duplicate requests for information and audit between client and supplier. Each request for information or audit represents additional costs to clients and suppliers, and therefore use of Achilles accreditation can realise significant and tangible cost savings – as experienced by our existing clients in other industry sectors.
Achilles pre-qualification and accreditation includes checking the supplier’s financial, safety, environmental/sustainability, social & ethical (CSR), occupational health and QA/QC management systems, competencies and capabilities.
All pre-qualification information and audit reports are delivered to our clients via a secure website, capable of integration into clients’ back office systems. Achilles provides comprehensive online tools that enable the selection of contractors and suppliers based on the detailed criteria, greatly reducing pre-tender timescales through more efficient tenderer selection.
Other online tools include integration with Equifax data to provide comprehensive financial analysis of the supply chain and supplier tracking, sending alerts by email when detrimental or other significant events occur.
