The assessments generate detailed reports of the company’s capabilities that can be used both as an aid to sourcing for the Utilities but also as valuable guidance on improvements for the company being assessed.
The benefits of Verify Patron Membership includes:
- Verify Category B2 assessment and is open to any company wishing to work with the Utilities. The assessment consists of the following:
- A qualified Verify Assessor will visit the contractor’s offices, to evaluate the company’s management system. The evaluation will then be followed by a site assessment normally on the second day.
- The management system evaluation is based on responses to a questionnaire during a face-to-face office visit
- An Assessor will visit an operating site annually and assess the company’s management systems every two years
- Each company is scored against set criteria and benchmarked against the industry average
- Completion of the management system review that will form part of the final Verify report.

- Enabling major contractors to assess their own supply chain in the same way as the Utilities Subscribers
- Ability to access all supplier reports held within the Verify system
- Opportunity to influence the development of the system as part of the User Group, together with the Subscribing Utilities and other Patron Members.
In addition to the above, the Verify B2 Fast-Track Assessment Option* includes:
The Fast-Track Option aims to complete the full Verify process in as little time as possible. The assessor will undertake a management systems evaluation of the company, and proceed onto the onsite assessment within 5 days of the initial office visit. Achilles aim to complete the entire verification process within 10 working days from the initial office visit.
